Pelatihan Manajemen Stres pada Siswa SMA Islam Kota Ternate Melalui Modul Olahrasa
Abstract
This community service activity was conducted at SMA Islam Ternate on 20 September 2025, involving approximately 25 students from grades X to XII. SMA Islam Ternate faces a persistent social stigma in the community: it is widely regarded as a "residual school" — a last resort for students who failed to gain admission to more favored public schools. This label affects not only the school's image but also the psychological self-concept of its students, many of whom internalize low academic self-efficacy and heightened vulnerability to stress. Recognizing this context, the Faculty of Humanities, Universitas Khairun, in collaboration with Generasi Berencana (GenRe), implemented the Olahrasa Module developed by Kemenpora-BKKBN to deliver stress management training. Based on the I-NAMHS 2023 survey, one in three Indonesian adolescents experiences a mental health problem, yet only 2.6% access professional support. Using the "Self as a Tool" framework (WHO, 2020), this activity employed psychoeducation, reflective exercises, and interactive discussion. Results indicate improved participant understanding of stress, enhanced ability to identify personal stressors, and improved coping strategies. This initiative is a step toward breaking the cycle of stigma through mental health empowerment.
