Abstract

Inclusive public transportation is a crucial element in creating a city that accommodates all citizens, including persons with disabilities. Bus stops serve as critical points at the beginning and end of a journey and play an essential role in ensuring comfort and accessibility for people with special needs. This study aims to evaluate the existing conditions of Trans Padang bus stops along Corridor I (Lubuk Buayo – Pasar Raya route) in supporting accessibility for people with disabilities. The study uses field observations to assess physical elements of the bus stops such as ramps, handrails, guiding blocks, information boards, wheelchair space, and accessibility symbols. The results show that most bus stops do not fully comply with national accessibility standards or the Minimum Service Standards (MSS). This research provides recommendations for improving facilities to make bus stops more inclusive and disability-friendly.
