2. Ownership

Jurnal Teknologi dan Sistem Tertanam (JTST) is owned by Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia, an academic institution located in Bandar Lampung, Lampung, Indonesia.

The owner supports the journal's academic mission, continuity, infrastructure, and institutional accountability. Ownership does not provide authority to interfere with individual editorial decisions, reviewer recommendations, or the acceptance and rejection of manuscripts.

3. Publisher

As the publisher, Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia provides institutional support for journal administration, publication infrastructure, digital systems, preservation, and the sustainability of JTST.

4. Managing Unit

JTST is organized and administratively managed by the Undergraduate Computer Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science, Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia.

The managing unit supports the journal's administrative and operational activities, including:

• Management of the online journal system;
• Administrative communication with authors, reviewers, and editors;
• Coordination of publication schedules;
• Support for copyediting, layout, proofreading, and metadata management;
• Maintenance of journal documentation and publication archives;
• Coordination of DOI registration and indexing information; and
• Support for the journal's quality improvement and sustainability.

5. Editorial Management

Scientific and editorial management is carried out by the Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board. The Editorial Board is responsible for protecting the quality, integrity, independence, and credibility of the journal.

Editorial responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing editorial policies;
• Assessing the suitability of submitted manuscripts;
• Selecting qualified and independent reviewers;
• Managing the peer-review process;
• Making fair and evidence-based editorial decisions;
• Ensuring compliance with publication ethics;
• Managing corrections, complaints, appeals, and allegations of misconduct;
• Maintaining the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and reviews; and
• Ensuring the quality and accuracy of published content and metadata.

6. Editorial Independence

Editorial decisions are based on the manuscript's scientific quality, originality, relevance, methodological validity, ethical compliance, reviewer evaluations, and suitability with the focus and scope of JTST.

8. Funding and Financial Management

JTST receives institutional and operational support from Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia. The journal may also collect article processing charges in accordance with the publicly stated author fee policy.

9. Conflicts of Interest

Individuals involved in the management and editorial process must disclose any financial, institutional, professional, academic, or personal relationship that could influence, or reasonably appear to influence, their responsibilities.

Editors must not manage or make decisions on manuscripts for which they have a conflict of interest. Such manuscripts will be reassigned to another qualified and independent editor.

10. Transparency and Accountability

JTST is committed to transparent and accountable journal governance. Information about the journal's ownership, publisher, editorial team, reviewer team, policies, fees, contact details, and publication schedule is made publicly available through the journal website.

Any significant change in ownership, publisher, managing unit, editorial leadership, journal title, ISSN, or publication model will be clearly communicated and documented on the journal website.

11. Complaints Concerning Journal Management

Concerns or complaints regarding journal ownership, management, editorial independence, financial transparency, or administrative conduct may be submitted to the JTST editorial office.

Complaints will be documented and reviewed fairly. When a complaint concerns the Editor-in-Chief or another individual with a direct conflict of interest, it will be referred to an appropriate independent institutional representative.
