Scholarly contributions considered for publication by JICE.

MANUSCRIPT 01

Original Research Articles

New findings based on rigorous investigations, experiments, fieldwork, modeling, or simulation.

MANUSCRIPT 02

Case Study Articles

Evidence-based analysis of real engineering projects, systems, challenges, and practices.

MANUSCRIPT 03

Literature Review Articles

Critical synthesis of existing scholarship, research gaps, and directions for further inquiry.

All submissions should make a clear scholarly contribution and comply with the journal's Manuscript Types policy and Author Guidelines.

Publication and Editorial Process

A transparent editorial workflow from submission through publication.

JICE publishes two regular issues annually, in January and July. All submitted manuscripts undergo initial editorial screening for relevance, originality, compliance with submission requirements, and methodological quality.

Since February 2026, JICE has implemented double-blind peer review, in which authors' and reviewers' identities are concealed from each other during review. Eligible manuscripts are assessed by qualified reviewers, while final editorial decisions remain the responsibility of the journal's editorial team.

The journal is committed to fair evaluation, research integrity, responsible authorship, and transparent publication practices. Further information is available in the Peer Review Process and Publication Ethics policies.

Open Access and Publishing Information

Free reader access, clearly stated rights, and accessible scholarly records.

JICE provides immediate, free online access to articles published on its current platform.
